Editing Your Profile

Your profile is what helps our application match you to jobs that are the best fit. It also helps your Search Consultant keep you in mind for job postings that may not yet be public. Therefore, it's a good idea to keep your VOYlegal profile as complete and accurate as possible. 

• Access your profile by clicking My Profile at the top right of your screen.

• Edit your Biography, Academic Background, Employment Background, and Preferences as necessary. Most of this is self explanatory. However, above all, your employment background and preferences should be as accurate as possible in order to best match you to a job. 
• Inputting your preferences is incredibly important if you are looking to make a geographic move, as you will otherwise only be matched with jobs in your current location.

• If possible, upload key application documents as soon as possible. This includes your resume and transcript, and your deal sheet if you are a transactional attorney, or a writing sample if you are a litigator. We review application materials before sending you out to our client employers. If your search consultant can review and approve your materials in advance, it will speed up your applicaition process.
